The City has established the following target areas and subsidy limits:
Heart of the City – Primary Target Area – the lesser of 20% of purchase price or $20,000
Truman – Primary Target Area – the lesser of 20% of purchase price or $20,000
Swope – Primary Target Area – the lesser of 20% of purchase price or $20,000
Hickman/Ruskin – Secondary Target Area – the lesser of 20% of purchase price or $12,000
Downtown – Secondary Target Area – the lesser of 20% of purchase price or $12,000
Briarcliff/Winwood – Secondary Target Area – the lesser of 20% of purchase price or $12,000
Citywide – Outside of any Target Area – the lesser of 20% of purchase price or $8,000

The City will be the final arbiter in determining which target area a property resides

Provides a forgivable 5 year loan for loans $15,000 and less; and a forgivable 10 year loan for loans greater than $15,000
No payments required on forgivable 5 year and 10 year loans
20 percent forgiven each year for 5 year loans and 10 percent forgiven each year for 10 year loans
Must be a first time buyer or equivalent
Homes must sell for less than $150,000
Homes must be within the city limits of Kansas City, MO

1 person – $39,900
2 people – $45,600
3 people – $51,300
4 people – $56,950
5 people – $61,550
6 people – $66,100
7 people – $70,650
8 people – $75,200
